Amitabha puppies

8 wk old pups

Our mission with Tibetan Mastiffs is to promote the breed through responsible dog ownership, aspiring to share this wonderful breed with others by selectively breeding well socialized puppies with good health, longevity, quality structure, excellent temperaments and authentic type.

Puppy time is very special - welcoming new babies, interacting with them closely, watching them grow and develop their personalities. We take the utmost care with our puppies, watching over them, providing them with a stimulating environment and socialising them to a full range of experiences. We look to placing our puppies in life long homes with people who have an understanding of the Tibetan Mastiff, matching the personality of each puppy to its owner and the role they want it to undertake as a guardian of the family.

To breed puppies that will live long healthy lives, both genetic and environmental factors need to be considered. We look to the longevity in the pedigree of our breeding dogs, carry out health screening for hip and elbow dysplasia, thyroid function and eye conditions. We take into consideration the type or breed characteristics that our breeding dogs will bring together, along with their structure and temperament. We provide puppies with a loving, nurturing upbringing with a quality diet, and an environment that acclimatises puppies to indoor and outdoor living.

Our puppies usually go to their new homes at around 9 weeks of age, having been vet checked, micro-chipped, vaccinated, wormed, flea and tick treated. Puppies will be accompanied by ANKC pedigree registration (either full or limited register) through Dogs Queensland, along with a Puppy pack with information to support the introduction of a TM puppy into your life. We can assist in organising the transport of your puppy interstate or overseas.

Throughout the life of your puppy, we are available to provide advice and recommendations to support you. If at any stage you feel you cannot continue to care for your Tibetan Mastiff, we would expect you to contact us as your first port of call.

We highly recommend that once you have read and researched about the breed and feel that you want the joy and love of being owned by an Amitabha puppy, that you express interest by completing our puppy questionnaire early to make a reservation.

Planned and upcoming litters can be discussed by phone. Contact us.
